Course Information

J2EE is known as Java Enterprise Edition, It is used to develop application Server side applications.J2ee is a platform for multi-tiered distributed applications.

There are different components to develop in J2EE in different machines tier in the multi-tiered distributed application. In J2EE there are 2 types of applications namely: Application Client and Dynamic html page.

There are 3 tiered application Machines in J2EE:

>> Client Machine

>> J2EE Server Machine

>> Data Base Server Machine

J2EE applications are made up of components; those components are from functional software unit where they assembled in J2EE applications it communicates classes and objects.

In J2EE there are 3 types of files present in it:

JAR FILE: Java Achieve File

WAR FILE:Web Archive File

EAR FILE: Enterprise Archive File.
